Finca San Martin, Fraijanes, Guatemala

1640 m - 1680 m

Located at the top of a mountain the locals refer to as “El Chocolate”, Finca San Martin is owned by the Valenzuela Family with elder brothers brothers Ramon, Rolando, & Rene leading the day to day operations. They are 4th generation coffee producers & have passed on their knowledge to their children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Spanning 162 acres, more than half of the land is left untouched as were the wishes of the Patriarch Ramon Valenzuela Sr. He realized that the land was only fertile & fruitful because there was a natural balance. This land holds a special place in our heart as it was where we started our journey into Specialty Coffee.

Finca La Flor, La Dalia, Nicaragua

1250 m - 1300 m

Owned & Operated by the Altamirano Family for 2 generations, Finca La Flor sits in the mountainous & fertile region of La Dalia. They produce the Catimor varietal which is one of the larger coffee bean varietals. The finca was named in honor of the family Matriarch Mrs. Martha Lorena who fought for many years to recover the family farm from both government & banks. Today her husband Haroldo & son Ernesto continue her legacy by producing and exporting some of the finest coffees in Nicaragua.

Finca Las Lluvias, Juayua, El Salvador

1250 m - 1280 m

Preserved from one generation to another, Finca Las Lluvias (Rain) is a coffee farm that contains within itself not only the history of coffee in El Salvador but the history of their family, Los Diegos --natives to the land even before coffee took root and El Salvador birthed.

Today Finca Las Lluvias grows under the cover of fruit trees, such as the unique Pepeto tree.  These beans are nurtured by a rich surrounding ecosystem, that is present in the flavor notes they develop.
